Guitar Hero 5 supports Miis too

Xbox Avatars aren’t the only ones who will be rocking out in Guitar Hero 5. An Activision representative told Eurogamer that Wii owners won’t be left behind in living out their fantasy rockstar lives vicariously through their digital selves — Guitar Hero 5 will support Mii’s as well.

This news doesn’t come as much of a surprise since Guitar Hero: World Tour also supported Miis in the “Mii Freestyle Mode.”

The Activision rep also confirmed that Home avatars on the PS3 won’t be supported, thus making Home even more irrelevant in the console generation.

Guitar Hero 5 comes out on Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 and PS2 on Sept. 18.
