Cocoto Platform Jumper was originally developed for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2004. The game also appeared on the Nintendo GameCube, but only in Europe. Now, WiiWare is bringing Cocoto Platform Jumper to the masses. The game was inspired by Nebulus, a classic platformer of the 8-bit era. Neko Entertainment translated Nebulus to a 3D world while keeping 2D gameplay, making the game accessible to everyone. Cocoto Platform Jumper follows the success of Cocoto Fishing Master, also available on WiiWare.

Cocoto is a little devil busy with guarding the secret of magma. One day, Zaron the god of lightning steals the secret of magma. Cocoto must now leave the safety of his cauldron to search for the secret and find his missing friends. Along the journey he is helped by Fairy and you.
Cocoto Platform Jumper is made of five worlds and 40 levels. The original game has been adjusted to create a variety of difficulties and to utilize the Wii Remote and nunchuck. This Cocoto incarnation for the Wii also includes two 2 multiplayer modes: a Battle mode or two players and a Race mode for up to four players.
